Aggregators, as the interface of electric vehicles (EVs) and distribution system, are the market agents of EVs to participate in demand response (DR) and other balancing services. Aggregators can enlarge its benefit room from vehicle-to-grid (V2G) by providing flexible V2G price to EV users as long as they can secure a certain amount of V2G energy. There is a need to study Aggregator's V2G pricing strategy due to the fact that distribution companies, aggregators, and EV users have their own independent benefit maximization objectives as independent entities, and the decision variables of different entities interact and restrict each other. In this study, an optimal V2G pricing strategy for each aggregator is obtained by using Stackelberg game during the gaming of the involved multiple entities. The benefits of aggregator and EV users are set as the game factors, and benefit models of EV user's and aggregator's are established with consideration of the historical charging cost, and users' inconvenience cost. A simulation of V2G price for 750 EVs and 3 aggregators is carried out, and the impact of the market volume of EVs on each aggregator under this pricing strategy is studied. Simulation results show the feasibility of the proposed model and the interaction among the randomness of driving behavior and the market volume of EV groups, loading level of the distribution system, V2G strategies, as well as the DR capabilities.
Solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation has strong intermittency and volatility due to its high dependence on solar radiation and other meteorological factors. Therefore, the negative impact of grid-connected PV on power systems has become one of the constraints in the development of large scale PV systems. Accurate forecasting of solar power generation and flexible planning and operational measures are of great significance to ensure safe, stable, and economical operation of a system with high penetration of solar generation at transmission and distribution levels. In this paper, studies on the following aspects are reviewed: (1) this paper comprehensively expounds the research on forecasting techniques of PV power generation output. (2) In view of the new challenge brought by the integration of high proportion solar generation to the frequency stability of power grid, this paper analyzes the mechanisms of influence between them and introduces the current technical route of PV power generation participating in system frequency regulation. (3) This section reviews the feasible measures that facilitate the inter-regional and wide-area consumption of intermittent solar power generation. At the end of this paper, combined with the actual demand of the development of power grid and PV power generation, the problems that need further attention in the future are prospected.
The optimal dispatching model for a stand-alone microgrid (MG) is of great importance to its operation reliability and economy. This paper aims at addressing the difficulties in improving the operational economy and maintaining the power balance under uncertain load demand and renewable generation, which could be even worse in such abnormal conditions as storms or abnormally low or high temperatures. A new two-time scale multi-objective optimization model, including day-ahead cursory scheduling and real-time scheduling for finer adjustments, is proposed to optimize the operational cost, load shedding compensation and environmental benefit of stand-alone MG through controllable load (CL) and multi-distributed generations (DGs). The main novelty of the proposed model is that the synergetic response of CL and energy storage system (ESS) in real-time scheduling offset the operation uncertainty quickly. And the improved dispatch strategy for combined cooling-heating-power (CCHP) enhanced the system economy while the comfort is guaranteed. An improved algorithm, Search Improvement Process-Chaotic Optimization-Particle Swarm Optimization-Elite Retention Strategy (SIP-CO-PSO-ERS) algorithm with strong searching capability and fast convergence speed, was presented to deal with the problem brought by the increased errors between actual renewable generation and load and prior predictions. Four typical scenarios are designed according to the combinations of day types (work day or weekend) and weather categories (sunny or rainy) to verify the performance of the presented dispatch strategy. The simulation results show that the proposed two-time scale model and SIP-CO-PSO-ERS algorithm exhibit better performance in adaptability, convergence speed and search ability than conventional methods for the stand-alone MG’s operation.

Due to the explosive penetration of photovoltaic (PV) systems in the power grid, accurate and well-informed solar PV power forecasting has become exceptionally crucial, while accurate irradiance prediction is the basis of PV power forecasting. Yet most research on PV power/irradiance forecasting focus on deterministic forecasting, whereas it is difficult to express the credibility of the forecasting results, especially in the scene of instantaneous fluctuation of irradiance and photovoltaic power caused by cloud movement. Therefore, in order to accurately estimate and track the rapid fluctuations of solar irradiance, this paper takes the ground-based sky image information into consideration and obtains the probability-level prediction results along with the deterministic point forecasting, proposes a comprehensive evaluation function constructed with the average coverage and the average width as the fitness function to assist in the optimization of the deterministic forecasting results, and then constructs a three-output model, naming it DenLUBE. In addition, a framework for irradiance variation pattern prediction is proposed to provide pattern information for the forecasting time period to further improve the performance of the ultra-short-term forecasting model. The results show that the proposed model can achieve high quality and strongly robust deterministic forecasting results while producing tight prediction intervals independent of weather conditions. In addition, the performance of our model is greatly enhanced compared to the traditional approach of taking the middle position of the interval as the deterministic forecasting result, as well as other benchmark models.
