Weiqi Jin obtained his PhD in Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 1990. He is currently a Professor at the Beijing Institute of Technology and the Director of the MOE Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Imaging Technology and Systems. He is also a council member of the Chinese Optical Society and the Chinese Optical Engineering Society. His main research interests include night vision and infrared technology, optoelectronic image processing, and optoelectronic detection and instruments.
