Murtala Bello Abubakar is a Medical Doctor with a PhD in Molecular Physiology from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is an Associate Professor and currently a research associate with Centre for Advanced Medical Research and Training (CAMRET), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria. He has interest in Physiological Genomics and Molecular Genetics and has worked extensively in the areas of Pharmacogenetics and Genomics of Cancer. He has also developed several multiplex PCR methods for detection of Genetic polymorphism with over 40 publications in high impact peer reviewed journals.
