Kelly W. Burak is the Associate Dean of Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Professional Development (PD) at the University of Calgary, as well as a Professor of Medicine in the Departments of Medicine and Oncology. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine in 1994. He received his Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education from Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia, and was awarded the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology Young Educator Award in 2010. He was a full member of The Calvin, Phoebe, and Joan Snyder Institute for Chronic Diseases. His clinical research interests include liver transplantation and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
