Dr. Asfa Batool, is a young energetic and competent scientist in the field of Agriculture, Ecology, Plant Sciences and Environmental Sciences. She has completed her Ph.D. in Ecology at School of Life Sciences, Lanzhou University, China, a well-known institute in China for agriculture studies.  Along with her PhD, she also completed Post-Doc in the field of Geography from Lanzhou, University China. Her research work focuses on agricultural and biotechnologies to improve plant growth and productivity.  Partial and full root zone system approach provides a potential innovative approach to upgrade the productivity of crops in arid and semi‐arid regions, and a key solution to boost the agricultural production system.  Dr. Asfa has proposed and demonstrated several novel design techniques with number of high-quality journal publications in the reputed peer-reviewed journals such as BMC Plant Biology, Journal of Fungi, European Journal of Agronomy, Journal of Advanced Research, Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Plant Methods, Plants, and Field Crops Research, and many international conferences. Moreover, she also worked in collaboration with scientists and developers from all over the world including China, Canada, Africa, Kenya, Australia, USA and Pakistan.
