David is a Principal Investigator at the Center for Aging Research at Cinvestav South Campus in Mexico City, where he heads the Epi Aging Lab. Combining computational and molecular biology approaches, he investigates how epigenetic and epitranscriptomic modifications drive aging and age-related pathologies. A strong proponent of precision medicine, his research group develops molecular clocks for biological age estimation and biomarker discovery, alongside accessible, low-cost RNA-seq protocols.
