I started my profesional career in the manufacturing sector as industrial engineer. In that period, I was Director of Quality and Safety Deparments. Since 2001 I work for the Regional Goverment of Andalusia, one of the biggest regions in Europe, as Managing Director of the Research and Development in Health Department. In the last years I have been in charge of intervention and promotion of occupational safety and in the management of the research and develpment in health. My research interests are research and innovation, data science, occupational safety, interventions, evaluation of public policies and risk assessment.
