Daqiu Zhao received a B.Sc. degree, an M.Sc. degree, and
a Ph.D. degree from Yangzhou University, in 2007, 2010, and 2013, respectively.
He works in the College of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at Yangzhou
University. He is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and department head. He is a
deputy secretary-general of the Peony and Peony Branch of the Chinese Society
of Horticulture. His research interests mainly focus on quality formation and
regulation of ornamental plants. He is the editorial board member of Agriculture
and the Journal of Integrative Agriculture.
