Prof. Dr. Gordana Laškarin is affiliated with the Department of Physiology, Immunology, and Pathophysiology in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka (Rijeka, Croatia) as a Full Professor, as well as with the Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation of Heart and Lung Diseases and Rheumatism, “Thalassotherapia-Opatija” (Opatija, Croatia). Prof. Dr. Laškarin’s research interests mainly focus on trophoblasts; decidua; natural killer cells; nk-lysin; saposins; cytotoxic t-lymphocytes; propofol; sevoflurane; and intravenous anesthetic agents. Prof. Dr. Laškarin’s scientific output includes 70 publications in various journals with an h-index of 22 (Scopus, March 2024).
