Hyperspectral image classification holds significant application value in precision agriculture, environmental monitoring, and other fields. However, the high cost of large-scale labeling limits the widespread application of deep learning methods. Utilizing a large amount of labeled hyperspectral image data for auxiliary training of cross-domain few-shot learning methods is an effective means to address this issue. Yet, in practical applications, spectral and spatial features vary across different scenarios, posing significant challenges to the generalizability and accuracy of cross-domain learning models. To tackle this problem, this paper proposes a Multi-Level Prototype Alignment (MLPA) method for cross-domain few-shot classification, which adjusts feature representations by implementing multi-level feature alignment strategies at various hierarchical levels of the feature extraction network. This approach achieves fine-grained alignment of the source and target domain feature distributions, effectively reducing domain shift and enhancing the model’s generalization capability on target domain data. Furthermore, by employing class prototype-based domain adversarial training, the method aligns the prototypes of the source and target domains without simply aligning the entire feature space, thus avoiding overlap in the feature distribution of different classes within the domain and mitigating negative transfer. The MLPA method effectively enhances the generalizability and discriminative power of features in the target domain, thereby improving the performance of cross-domain hyperspectral image classification. Experimental results demonstrate that MLPA outperforms other cross-domain few-shot hyperspectral image classification methods. Our source code is available at https://github.com/hejinrong/MLPA.

Apple core browning not only affects the nutritional quality of apples, but also poses a health risk to consumers. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop a fast and reliable non-destructive detection method for apple core browning. To deal with the challenges of the long incubation period, strong infectivity, and difficulty in the prevention and control of apple core browning, a novel non-destructive detection method for apple core browning has been developed through combining hyperspectral imaging and dielectric techniques. To reduce the computational complexity of high-dimensional multi-view data, canonical correlation analysis is employed for feature dimensionality reduction. Then, the two low-dimensional vectors extracted from two different sensors are concatenated into one united feature vector; therefore, the information contained in the hyperspectral and dielectric data is fused to improve the detection accuracy of the non-destructive method. At last, five traditional classifiers, such as k-Nearest Neighbors, a support vector machine with radial basis function kernel and polynomial kernel, Decision Tree, and neural network, are trained on the fused feature vectors to discriminate apple core browning. The experimental results on our own constructed dataset have shown that the sensitivity, specificity, and precision of SVM with RBF kernel based on concatenated 70-dimensional feature vectors extracted via canonical correlation analysis reached 99.98%, 99.70%, and 99.70%, respectively, which achieved better results than other models. This study can provide theoretical assurance and technical support for further development of higher accuracy and lower-cost non-destructive detection devices for apple core browning.

Multiplicative noise removal is an important research topic in image processing field. An algorithm using reweighted alternating minimization to remove this kind of noise is proposed in our preliminary work. While achieving good results, a small parameter is needed to avoid the denominator vanishing. We find that the parameter has important influence on numerical results and has to be chosen carefully. In this paper a primal–dual algorithm is designed without the artificial parameter. Numerical experiments show that the new algorithm can get a good visual quality, overcome staircase effects and preserve the edges, while maintaining high signal-to-noise ratio.

Software vulnerabilities can have serious consequences, which is why many techniques have been proposed to defend against them. Among these, vulnerability detection techniques are a major area of focus. However, there is a lack of a comprehensive approach for benchmarking these proposed techniques. In this paper, we present the first survey that comprehensively investigates and summarizes the current state of software vulnerability detection benchmarking. We review the current literature on benchmarking vulnerability detection, including benchmarking approaches in technique-proposing papers and empirical studies. We also separately discuss the benchmarking approaches for traditional and deep learning-based vulnerability detection techniques. Our survey analyzes the challenges of benchmarking software vulnerability detection techniques and the difficulties involved. We summarize the challenges of benchmarking software vulnerability detection techniques and describe possible solutions for addressing these challenges.

Early and accurate detection of brain tumors is critical for MRI-based diagnosis. Conventional convolutional neural networks often struggle to capture fine-grained details, small or boundary-ambiguous lesions, and hemispheric symmetry patterns. To address these limitations, we propose S-ResGCN, a symmetry-aware framework integrating hierarchical feature extraction, attention mechanisms, and graph-based classification. S-ResGCN employs a ResNet50 backbone to extract multi-level features, with Convolutional Block Attention Modules applied to intermediate and deep layers to enhance key information and discriminative features. Furthermore, we introduce a novel self-paired regularization to enforce feature consistency between original and horizontally flipped images, improving sensitivity to bilateral symmetric structures. Extracted features are converted into nodes and modeled as a small graph, and a graph convolutional network captures inter-node relationships to generate symmetry-aware predictions. Evaluation on three publicly available brain tumor MRI datasets demonstrates that S-ResGCN achieves average accuracies of 99.83%, 99.37% and 99.26% ± 0.16, with consistently high precision, recall, and F1-scores. These results indicate that S-ResGCN effectively captures fine-grained and symmetric tumor characteristics often overlooked by conventional models, providing a robust and efficient tool for automated, graph convolutional network.

Software vulnerabilities are flaws in computer software systems that pose significant threats to the integrity, security, and reliability of modern software and its application data. These vulnerabilities can lead to substantial economic losses across various industries. Manual vulnerability repair is not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. To address the challenges of vulnerability repair, researchers have proposed various solutions, with learning-based automatic vulnerability repair techniques gaining widespread attention. However, existing methods often focus on learning more vulnerability data to improve repair outcomes, while neglecting the diverse characteristics of vulnerable code, and suffer from imprecise vulnerability localization. To address these shortcomings, this paper proposes CRepair, a CVAE-based automatic vulnerability repair technology aimed at fixing security vulnerabilities in system code. We first preprocess the vulnerability data using a prompt-based method to serve as input to the model. Then, we apply causal inference techniques to map the vulnerability feature data to probability distributions. By employing multi-sample feature fusion, we capture diverse vulnerability feature information. Finally, conditional control is used to guide the model in repairing the vulnerabilities.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method significantly outperforms other benchmark models, achieving a perfect repair rate of 52%. The effectiveness of the approach is validated from multiple perspectives, advancing AI-driven code vulnerability repair and showing promising applications.
