Kevin Parton is an emeritus professor in the School of Business at Charles Sturt University. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of New England (1980). He has been with Charles Sturt University (CSU) since 2001 and has held several leadership positions, including Dean of the Faculty and Head of Campus. His research interests are in economics of the environment, with a particular focus on climate change policy. Prior to joining CSU, he was head of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Business at the University of Guelph in Canada. He has completed research projects in a number of countries including Bangladesh, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Nepal, Ethiopia, Thailand and the Philippines.
