Ester Anton is a researcher at the Genetics of Male Fertility Group at the Cellular Biology Unit in the Faculty of Biosciences at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). She earned her Ph.D. in Cell Biology from UAB in 2008, receiving the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. Since February 2018, she has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Cell Biology, Physiology, and Immunology at UAB. Her primary scientific activity is directed towards elucidating the genetic basis of human male infertility while also investigating external factors that may influence and modulate reproductive health. Throughout her career, she has actively contributed to diverse competitive research projects, serving both as an investigator and principal investigator. This has resulted in the collaborative generation of numerous JCR articles within the specified area.
