Prof. Hengfu Yin earned a BS from Nanjing Agriculture University in 2003. He received his PhD from the Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2010. He worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Subtropical Forestry, Chinese Academy of Forestry (2010–2011). He moved to the Plant Systems Group, Oak Ridge National Lab, as a Postdoc Researcher from 2011 to 2014. Now, he is a Professor at the Research Institute of Subtropical Forestry, Chinese Academy of Forestry. His skills and expertise include plant biotechnology, plant molecular biology, plant genetics, plant breeding, abiotic stress tolerance, gene expression, and plant genomics.
