Tao Luo is a Professor at the School of Architecture and
Urban-Rural Planning, Fuzhou University. Prior to this, he served as a Researcher
at the Research Center of Urban Eco-environment Planning and Management, Institute
of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He graduated from Sun
Yat-sen University with a Bachelor’s in Atmospheric Environment in 1990 and
earned his Ph.D. in Landscape Design and Planning from the University of
Rostock in 2008. His main research interests include landscape ecology and
human processes, regional spatial patterns and sustainable territorial spatial
planning, environmental cognition, and landscape aesthetics.
