Dr. Muhammad Saeed achieved his MPhil and PhD in Physical Chemistry (Heterogeneous Catalysis) from the National Centre of Excellence in Physical Chemistry, the University of Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2007 and 2011, respectively. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. His research fields are Physical Chemistry (Heterogeneous Catalysis), including the synthesis of supported and unsupported metal/metal oxide catalysts; the characterization of catalysts by various techniques like FTIR, SEM, XRD, surface area and pore size analysis, particle size analysis, chemical analysis, etc.; the partial/complete catalytic oxidation of organic compounds in gaseous and liquid phase; the catalytic degradation of organic pollutants in aqueous medium (wastewater treatment); and green chemistry.
