Dr. Zhenjia Zheng is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Food Science and Engineering, at Shandong Agricultural University. He also serves as a member of the Youth Work Committee of the Chinese Society of Food Science and Technology, an observer of the Sixth National Standard Sample Technical Committee, and deputy secretary-general of the Shandong Provincial Society of Food Science and Technology. He has presided over or participated in several national key research and development projects and published more than 100 papers. His main research directions include fruit and vegetable processing, extraction, analysis and functional evaluation of functional ingredients, and comprehensive utilization of agricultural by-products and development of functional foods.
