Prof. Dr. Fujian Zhou is an oil and gas reservoir stimulation and protection expert, as well as a professor and doctoral supervisor. He was the Deputy Director of the Fracturing and Acidizing Center of China Petroleum Exploration and Development Institute and the Chief Expert of China Petroleum Exploration and Development Institute. He has been engaged in oil and gas field development research for a long time and has several achievements in oil and gas reservoir stimulation, oil and gas well sand control, and reservoir protection. A new diverting acid fracturing principle and method integrating fracture diversion and acid fluid diversion has been proposed. The fracture diversion material was invented, and multiple fractures were formed through fracture diversion to communicate more fracture–cavity reservoir space.
