Dr. Yuanyuan Han is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, specializing in tissue engineering and craniofacial regeneration. Dr. Han earned her Ph.D. from The University of Hong Kong, where she investigated HIF-1α–mediated angiogenesis and glycolytic regulation in pulp-dentin regeneration, earning multiple awards including the IADR Colgate Research in Prevention Travel Award and recognition as a top 5% graduate. She has authored several high-impact publications in Journal of Dental Research, Acta Biomaterialia, and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. Her current research explores ECM-guided osteogenesis using genetically and biomaterial-engineered platforms, aiming to translate mechanobiological insights into innovative regenerative therapies. Dr. Han’s long-term goal is to advance craniofacial tissue regeneration through integrative biomaterial design and stem cell engineering to improve patient outcomes.
