Prof. Dr. Zhishan Yuan received a Master’s degree in mechanical and electronic engineering from Hefei University of Technology in 2011, and a Ph.D. degree in mechanical manufacturing and automation from Southeast University in 2016. After graduation, he joined the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Guangdong University of Technology as a lecturer, and currently, he is a Professor. His research direction is micro–nano manufacturing methods (chips and sensors), microscale intelligent medical devices; involving solid-state nanopore sequencing chips, early cancer diagnosis chips, painless injection, and intelligent detection microneedles.
