PhD in Food Science from Autonomous University of Queretaro in 2013. Has been a full professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico FES—Cuautitlan since 2004. Responsible for the Laboratory of Transformation Process and Emerging Technologies in Foods, L16-UIM. Investigation area is nanotechnology applications to increase foods' shelf lives. She has 44 peer-reviewed articles (h-index = 16) with more than 800 citations, and has supervised 73 undergraduate theses and 7 postgraduate theses. She is also the author of 85 divulgation articles, 30 electronic divulgation articles, more than 150 congress presentations, and 10 book chapters, and also holds 5 patent applications.
