Prof. Feng Zhang received a bachelor's degree and a PhD from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2005 and 2010, respectively. He was a visiting scholar at Creighton University (2005–2006) and University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007–2008). He completed his postdoctoral research at Xi'an Jiaotong University and is now a professor there. He is the deputy director of the Youth Committee of the Endemic Branch of the Chinese Medical Association Endemic Branch and the deputy secretary-general of the Shaanxi Preventive Medicine Association. His research interests include molecular epidemiology and bioinformatics.
