Prof. Dr. Dariusz Chlubek is the Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Medical Chemistry, at Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. Then, he worked as an Assistant to the Chair at the Department of Biochemistry, PAM in Szczecin (1987–1992) and as an Assistant Professor (1992–1999). He has published 564 papers in various journals. His main research fields are the metabolism of elements, biochemical mechanisms of toxic elements, exponents of oxidative stress and mechanisms of antioxidant system functioning.
