Dr. A. Madhan Kumar has successfully completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Chemistry, Anna University, Chennai in the year of 2012. During his Ph.D. work, he has worked as Junior Researcher in National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Japan for about 2 years. He had also completed his one year post-doctoral fellowship at Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea. Currently, He is working as a Research Scientist at IRC-AM, KFUPM. His current research interest includes fabrication and characterization of polymer and polymer nanocomposite coatings over metal and alloys for orthopaedic implants and corrosion protection applications. In particular, he has a great deal of experience in the area of conducing polymers and the formulations of epoxy coatings and their applications in corrosion protection strategies. He has published about 110 research articles to his credit in International journals in addition to several conference proceedings/presentations.
