Natalia Yu. Shilyagina graduated from the Biological Faculty of N.I. Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod in 2009. She obtained her Ph.D in Biophysics in 2014 (her thesis was defended at Voronezh State University). Since 2003, she has been an Assistant Professor and researcher at the University of Nizhny Novgorod. Her fields of interest include the development of novel agents for fluorescent diagnostics and photodynamic therapy in cancer, the development of anticancer agent delivery systems, and fluorescent molecular rotors.
