Dr. Decha Kumla received his PhD from the Biomedical Institute of Abel Salazar of the University of Porto and post-doctoral fellowship from Catholic University of Porto, Portugal. His research focus was on bioactive secondary metabolites from marine-derived fungi. He is currently a lecturer in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Burapha University in Thailand
