María Josefa Bernad Bernad has a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences with a specialty in Pharmaceutical Technology from National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, 1998). She is currently a full professor/researcher in the Department of Pharmacy at UNAM. María has experience in the design of Drug Delivery systems for ocular and skin issues for animals and humans and brings support for Mexican companies. Her interests are Nanotechnology Physical Chemistry Polymer Chemistry and Controlled Release. She has published over 67 articles in Scopus. Like adviser, her students got some prizes in CFM-FUNDACIÓN UNAM in different years.
