Wei Xiong is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Dalian Maritime University. He is a standing Committee member of the Fluid Transmission and Control Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and Deputy Director of the Youth Working Committee. He received his Ph.D. at the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2001. For many years, he has been engaged in teaching and research in the field of fluid transmission and control. His main research interests include fluid transmission and control, virtual assembly, and marine salvage engineering equipment research. He has published more than 50 academic papers, including more than 30 SCI/EI retrieval papers, and obtained more than 10 national invention patents.
