Pablo Guardado-Calvo obtained a PhD in Structural Biology from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela in 2010. Since 2010, he has worked at the Institut Pasteur (post-doctoral fellow 2010–2015; staff scientist 2015–2020; group leader 2020–2022). He is currently the Director of the Unit Structural Biology of Infectious Diseases. He conducts research in structural virology, studying the mechanisms of viral fusion and antibody-mediated neutralization to develop vaccines and antiviral treatments.
