Christian B. H. Thorjussen is a Ph.D. candidate in applied mathematics affiliated with Nofima AS and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. He holds a master’s degree in economics, with his thesis focusing on microeconomics. His undergraduate studies were in North American Studies, concentrating on economics, literature, and history. Christian's academic interests lie in blending causal theory and machine learning with statistical modeling, other academic interests are economic history, philosophy of science and data science. His professional experience includes roles at the Norwegian Cancer Registry, the University of Oslo, and Oslo Metropolitan University. Additionally, he has served as an independent consultant.
