Prof. Dr. Siming Zhu is a Professor and Doctoral/Master's Supervisor at South China University of Technology (SCUT), a Regular Researcher at SCUT Yangjiang Research Institute, a Doctoral/Master's Supervisor at Guangdong Ocean University (GDOU), Dean of the School of Food Science and Engineering at GDOU Yangjiang Campus, Tianshan Scholar Chair Professor at Kashgar University, and Huanghe Delta Talent Scholar. He obtained his Doctoral degree in Sugar Engineering from the School of Light Industry and Food Science, South China University of Technology in 2006. His research interests mainly focus on green processing of agricultural products, functional high-intensity sweeteners, and functional carbohydrates. He also serves as a reviewer for several prestigious international journals, including Food Chemistry, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, and Carbohydrate Polymers.
