Zheng Zheng is currently a distinguished Professor at Fudan University, Director of the River Basin Pollution Control Research Center of Fudan University, and Director of the National Circular Economy Engineering Laboratory. He has served as the Dean of the School of Environment at Nanjing University, a member of the Environmental Discipline Review Group of the State Council Academic Degree Committee, and a member of the Lake Theme Expert Group of the National Major Science and Technology Project for Water Environment Governance. His research areas mainly include watershed pollution control and ecological restoration, village (including township) sewage treatment technology, park-style low-pollution water deep treatment technology, agricultural and rural solid waste comprehensive treatment technology, and clear water network basin pollution control technology. He has published more than 400 papers in academic journals, including more than 200 SCI papers, and obtained about 100 invention patents, including 10 patents from developed countries in Europe and from the United States; three Geneva International Invention Gold Awards, one each from Germany and Singapore; and more than 10 national and provincial science and technology awards.
