Nanofluids based on CNTs/ethylene glycol have a potential role in contributing to industrial applications like heat exchangers, domestic refrigerator, electronics cooling, etc. The aim and novelty of the present research is to communicate the significance of the Coriolis force and Darcy-Forchheimer stretched flow of ethylene glycol (EG) conveying carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in a rotating frame. Furthermore, entropy analysis is the main focus in this study. Two types of CNTs known as multiwalled (MWCNT) and single-walled (SWCNT) carbon nanotubes are considered. Ethylene glycol (EG) is treated as the base liquid. Xue’s model is utilized for the physical aspects of specific heat, density and thermal conductivity. The heat transfer mechanism is modeled through nonlinear thermal radiation, viscous dissipation and convective condition. The governing flow problems have been computed numerically via the NDSolve method. Outcomes for single-walled and multi-walled CNTs are arranged and compared. Our findings reveal that entropy generation is accompanied by an increasing trend in the Brinkman number and temperature ratio parameter. Temperature increases with the intensification of radiative and convective variables. Moreover, the temperature gradient has marginally larger values in the case of SWCNT, when compared with MWCNT.

Nanomaterials have a remarkable role in contributing to industrial and medical applications like cooling of compressors, domestic refrigerators, brain tumors, and engines. Therefore, this report develops the theoretical investigation of magnetized nanomaterials Darcy–Forchheimer flow with zero mass flux. Rotation and stretching of disk cause the flow. Variable permeability and porosity are explored via Darcy–Forchheimer expansion. Activation energy with exothermic/endothermic reaction, Joule heating, exponential, and thermal heat source are additionally added to the energy equation. For the analysis of nanomaterials, Boungiorno model is considered. The modeled equations are altered to systems of ordinary differential equations by using Von Karman variables. ND-Solve scheme numerically approximated the converted system. Variation of physical quantities against distinct parameters is interpreted. It is noted that exothermic/endothermic reaction improves the temperature of nanomaterials.

An improvement in heat transfer fluid is one of the important tasks which can be achieved through implementation of hybrid nanoparticles. Hence the aim of this study is to communicate flow of hybrid nanoliquid by stretchable rotating disk. The considered hybrid nanoliquid is a combination of AA7072 and AA7075 nanoparticles and water. Law of energy incorporates the thermal radiation, dissipation and irregular heat source terms. Von Karman variables lead to the dimensionless problem under consideration. Reduced system is tackled numerically via NDSolve based Shooting scheme. Graphical descriptions are made against various physical variables of interest. Moreover rate of heat transfer at disk is estimated. Present work pointed out that local heat transfer rate accelerates for higher thermal radiation and thermal slip parameters whereas decaying trend is seen for higher estimations of Eckert number and (ESHS) parameter. It is noted that fluid velocity reduces for higher volumetric fraction. Furthermore hybrid nanomaterials have great influence throughout our analysis when compared with regular nanomaterials. The peculiar outcomes achieved in this study are important in industrial research, academics and discussion about heat transfer analysis in flow of two types of nanoliquids by keeping the regular fluid fixed. Finally key points of present analysis are included.

Main concern of current research is to develop a novel mathematical model for stagnation-point flow of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Prandtl–Eyring fluid over a stretchable cylinder. The thermal radiation and convective boundary condition are also incorporated. The modeled partial differential equations (PDEs) with associative boundary conditions are deduced into coupled non-linear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by utilizing proper similarity transformations. The deduced dimensionless set of ODEs are solved numerically via shooting method. Behavior of controlling parameters on the fluid velocity, temperature fields as well as skin friction and Nusselt number are highlighted through graphs. Outcome declared that dimensionless fluid temperature boosts up for both the radiation parameter and Biot number. It is also revealed that the magnitude of both heat transfer rate and skin friction enhance for higher estimation of curvature parameter. Furthermore, comparative analysis between present and previous reports are provided for some specific cases to verify the obtained results.
