Dr Xu Deng received her PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, in 2017. She is currently a Newcastle University Academic Track (NUAcT) Fellow in Electrical Power of the Electrical Power Research Group in the School of Engineering, Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Her main research areas are Integrated Motor Drives (IMDs) and advanced control techniques for electric motor drives and high-frequency power electronics.
