have started my professional career at Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazonia (INPA) during the period from 1982-1986. From 1986-2020, I have worked (retired senior scientist) at Instituto de Aeronaútica e Espaço (IAE) which is linked to the Departamento de Ciência e Tecnologia Aeroespacial (DCTA) from Comando da Aeronaútica. From 1990 until now, I am full professor at Universidade de Taubaté (UNITAU). I am also member of the Graduate Programmes: Meteorology at INPE (from 1997 until now) and Ciencias Ambientais (from 1999 until now). Member of the Scientifi Committes from CAPES (2013-2022), CNPq (2013-2016, 2020-2023), FAPESP (scientific reviewer). Also member of the Sociedade Brasileira de Meteorologia (from 1985 until 2020). I was awarded with the Premio CAPES TESE Geociencias 2010 as the adviser of the “best Geociencias Thesis”. Also, I have received the “Santos Dumont Medal” from the Comando da Aeronaútica in 2013.
