Dr. M.T. Ahvanooey is an Assistant Professor and Ulam Scientist at the Institute of Computer Science, Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), Poland. Prior to this, he was a Senior Research Fellow at the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, from October 2022 to September 2024. Before joining NTU, he was a researcher with the Institute of Multimedia Information Processing, Nanjing University (NJU), P.R. China, where he attained the postdoctoral fellowship from December 2019 to June 2022. He attained his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering (Cybersecurity & Machine Learning) at Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NJUST), Nanjing, P.R. China (2019, with honors). He is also a Senior Programmer, Cybersecurity Researcher, and Practitioner with industry and academic experience. He is also a senior member of IEEE and ACM Professional Member. He also has three patent applications. He serves (d) as an editor at Frontiers in Big Data (07/2023- Present), Cryptography journal (MDPI, 2021/12-2023/01) and a Technical Program Committee (TPC) Member of international conferences, such as ARES 2021-2025, SciSec 2024, IEEE ICME 2021, 2022 and 2023, MIC-Security 2021, and IEEE MIC-Computing 2021, and IEEE CDIS 2023 (43d Series). He achieved several entrepreneurship awards, such as the 2023 Web 3.0 Track-Port63 NTU Challenge Finalist, the Silver Trophy at the Nanjing Jiangning Innovation Competition 2022, and so on.
