Dr. Victor González-Castro received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2006 and 2011, respectively, at the University of León in the field of Computer Vision and Machine Learning. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne (France) and as a Lecturer in Medical Image Analysis at the University of Edinburgh (UK). He is currently a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of León (Spain). His research interests are Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning applied to medical and industrial problems, crime prevention, and cybersecurity.
