In order to reveal the evolution of bonding performance of HIRA (High Intensity and Rapid Agent) anchor solids with maintenance time, the evolution characteristics of bond strength and stress distribution at the interface between HIRA-based anchor solids and a geotechnical body under different maintenance times and the fine damage pattern of anchor solids were studied by an indoor pull-out test of anchor solids. The comparative analysis was performed with 42.5 grade ordinary Portland cement (hereinafter referred to as P.O 42.5). The results show that the early strength and rapid setting characteristics of HIRA type material are obvious, and the difference between its average peak bond strength and that of cement is 10.45 times. The shear stress distribution has obvious stress concentration characteristics, and the peak value will appear and shift with the increase in load, and the peak shift of the HIRA anchor solid occurs earlier than that of cement. Due to different stress levels, the damage of the HIRA anchor solid after being pulled out increases with the increase in maintenance time, while that of cement gradually becomes more severe. The overall damage of the HIRA material is generally lower than that of cement in the same period.

Anchor cable prestressing is one of the key factors in maintaining the stability of the supporting structure and controlling ground deformation. In order to further understand the influence of anchor cable prestress loss on the stability of the foundation pit, an underground station pit of Qingdao Metro Line 6 is taken as the engineering background, and numerical simulation research is carried out by using FLAC3D, which calculates the surface settlement, the deformation of enclosing piles, the support axial force, and the axial force of anchor cables in the process of excavation of the foundation pit and compares it with the on-site monitoring data, to get the law of the impact of prestressing force on the stability of the foundation pit in order to provide a reference for the design of the soil–rock Combined pit support system design and engineering construction to provide reference.

The rapid development of coastal cities has intensified land resource constraints and is leading to an increasing number of foundation pit projects near existing operational tunnels. This necessitates careful consideration of coastal excavation impacts on adjacent tunnels. Taking a foundation pit project in Qingdao as a case study, this paper investigates tunnel deformation through statistical analysis, numerical simulation, and field monitoring. By adjusting numerical model parameters, the research examines the influence of horizontal clearance distances, existing structure burial depths, and different retaining structure configurations on tunnel deformation, providing guidance for deformation control. Key findings include the following: (1) Statistical analysis reveals that tunnels in silty clay strata experience more significant excavation-induced deformation compared to those in silt strata, with relative positional relationships between pits and tunnels playing a critical role. (2) Numerical and monitoring results demonstrate that pit excavation induces tunnel displacement towards the excavation zone. Maximum lateral displacement reached 3.57 mm (simulated) and 4.79 mm (measured), while maximum vertical displacement was 3.11 mm (simulated) and 3.85 mm (measured), all within safety thresholds. (3) Sensitivity analysis shows that shallower tunnels exhibit more pronounced deformations. Increasing horizontal separation distance from 10 m to 25 m reduces deformation by one-third. However, adjusting diaphragm wall thickness and retaining structure embedment depth proves limited in deformation control, necessitating reinforcement measures on the tunnel side. These findings provide valuable references for protecting coastal silty clay stratum tunnels.

A new type of composite cement-based cementing material—high-strength fast cementing material (HSFCM)—will be widely used in marine engineering projects such as submarine tunnels. However, the influence of fire and other high temperature conditions on its material properties have not been explored in previous studies. Mechanical tests and microstructure observations of HSFCM were carried out, and the strength and deformation characteristics, microstructure and composition evolution of HSFCM after high temperature treatment were discussed. After high temperature treatment, the compressive strength of HSFCM deteriorated. The compressive strength of HSFCM decreased by more than half at 400 °C. The peak strain increased at 200 °C with the increase of temperature, and decreased at 400~600 °C with the increase of temperature. High temperature reduces the stiffness of HSFCM, and the elastic modulus decreases with increasing temperature. The influence of high temperature on the microstructure of HSFCM is mainly shown in the increase and enlargement of pores in three-dimensional space, the development of micro-cracks and the thermal decomposition of cementing material into stable oxides without cementing effect. The microscopic changes of HSFCM are in good agreement with the mechanical test results.

Due to the complex hydrogeological conditions in coastal regions, the use of internal bracing systems is necessary for supporting coastal foundation pits. This paper introduces a novel prefabricated foundation pit bracing system based on Hollow Concrete-Filled Steel Tube (H-CFST) structures that can be reused, offering significant economic and societal benefits. However, there is a severe lack of research on the application of H-CFST bracing systems. Through model tests and finite element simulations, the load-displacement characteristics and failure modes of prefabricated H-CFST bracing under transverse bending were investigated. The study revealed that when a wall thickness of 1.5 d was chosen, the self-designed hoop effectively mitigated strength and stiffness reduction at the bracing connection point. When the load reached 150 kN, the outer steel tube of the H-CFST components experienced localized yielding, and when the load was increased to 300 kN, the end supports exhibited cracking. Finite element analysis provided a more accurate prediction of bracing failure at 147.18 kN, and it offered valuable insights for optimizing the bracing design. Based on the above research, theoretical methods for calculating the bearing capacity of each bracing component under transverse bending conditions have been proposed and validated against experimental results.

Underground space development is a crucial approach to addressing traffic congestion in China’s cities, especially through underground construction. However, the traditional pit internal support system, particularly the concrete internal support system, has significant drawbacks. These include high energy consumption and carbon emissions, which are increasingly prominent issues. In this paper, a hollow precast concrete-filled steel tube (H-CFST) internal support system is proposed and a node connection scheme is designed. Through numerical simulation, the load-bearing characteristics of H-CFST with different aspect ratios, hollow ratios, hoop thicknesses, and hoop lengths are investigated, and the optimal design parameters are obtained. Finally, following a field application, monitoring data reveal that the precast H-CFST internal support demonstrates superior load-bearing capacity compared to the concrete internal support, successfully meeting the criteria for replacement of the concrete support.
