Prof. Lukui Chen is currently the Director of the Neuroscience Center (Brain Center), Director of the Faculty of Surgery, Chairman of Neurosurgery, and Chairman of the Clinical Trial Supervision Committee at the Integrated Hospital of TCM, Southern Medical University, Guangzhou, China. He was the Former Chairman of Neurosurgery at Zhongda Hospital and Former Director of the Functional Neurosurgery Institute at Southeast University from 2012 to 2019. He is an international member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and has won the AANS Best International Abstract Award. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons (ACNS), Visiting Professor at the Asahikawa Red Cross Hospital in Japan. He is also Vice President of the Chinese Committee of the International Association of Neurorestoratology (IANR) and has won the 2021 IANR Annual Contribution Award. Since 2021, He has been elected as the Founding President of the Cerebrovascular Disease Committee of the Guangdong Medical Education Association. He was honored as one of the Top 100 national neurosurgeons in academic impact from 2012 to 2021. He was President of the 2021 Annual Meeting of Chinese Neurorestoratology, the 2021 and the 2022 Annual Meeting of Guangdong Cerebrovascular Disease Conference. His research has been supported by the National Key R&D Plan, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial research projects.
