Ahana Maitra is a Researcher at the Department of Pharmacy–Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Bari (Italy). Her principal research areas have been genomics/transcriptomics, population genetics, molecular biology, and exploratory data analysis. Currently, she is investigating gene expression profiles in cancer patients and biomarker discovery for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
