Dr. Adel A. Abdou is an Associate Professor at the Architectural Engineering and Construction Management Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He received his Master of Science in Building Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, followed by a Ph.D. in Building Engineering from the same institution. His research interests include building acoustics and noise control, lighting design in buildings, smart and sustainable buildings, indoor environmental quality, thermal and energy performance of building envelopes, airflow in buildings, indoor air quality, and energy analysis.
