I am Filiz Sadi Aykan. I studied medicine at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine between 1999-2005 and received the title of medical doctor in 2005. I worked as a research assistant in Gazi University Chest Diseases between 2006-2011 and received the title of chest diseases specialist in 2011. I worked as a chest disease specialist at Ankara Numune Hospital between 2011 and 2019. Between 2020-2023, I worked as a research assistant in the Department of Allergy and Immunology at Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Medicine. In 2023, I received the title of Allergy and Immunology specialist. In 2024, I started at Ankara Health Sciences University Gülhane Training and Research Hospital Allergy and Immunology Department and am a specialist doctor. I have published studies on sarcoidosis, immunodeficiencies, allergic diseases, and hereditary angioedema. I am a member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID), the Turkish National Allergy and Clinical Immunology Association, and Clinical Immunology Association.
