Dr. Toni Pujol received his Bachelor of Science in
Physics by the Universitat de Barcelona (1995), Mechanical Engineer by the
Universitat de Girona (2003) and Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences by the
Universitatde Girona (1999). He has worked at the Universitat de Girona (1995–2003,
2006–now) and at the Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona (1999–2000). He has been
a Fulbright postdoctoral researcher at the Texas A&M University (2000–2001).
His research lines have been the modelization of the climate change (1995–2006),
combustion fronts (2007–2015), filtration with porous media (2009–now) and
thermoelectricity (2014–now). He has been the academic coordinator of the
Mechanical Engineering degree from 2012 to 2016.
