Yougen Yi graduated from Central South University with a PhD. He is currently working as a Professor and Master Supervisor at Central South University. He has been awarded the titles of "Top Ten Teacher" of Central South University, "Teaching Expert" among Young Teachers in Hunan Province, "Huawei Excellent Teacher" and "Xinheng Excellent Teacher" at Central South University. In 2011, he visited and studied in University of Birmingham, UK for one year. He has undertaken research projects with the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Defense Industry Project, National High-tech Research and Development Program (863 Program), National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program), Natural Science Foundation of Hunan Province, and the Science and Technology Program of Hunan Province. He is currently engaged in research into photoelectric thin film, thin-film solar cells, micro/nano optics, flexible electronics, and microstructures and properties of metal materials. He has published more than 50 research papers, most of which have been indexed by SCI.
