My research focuses on the roles and interactions of various immune cells, including NK cells, NKT cells, and MDSCs, in the context of breast cancer. I am particularly interested in understanding how metformin, a common diabetes medication, influences these cells and their functions within the tumor microenvironment. By exploring the impact of metformin on immune cell behavior, I aim to uncover potential therapeutic strategies for improving breast cancer treatment outcomes.
