Prof. Dr. Ameer Fawad Zahoor is a Professor of Organic Chemistry at Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan. He was the recipient of a Gold Medal and Academic Roll of Honor during his B.Sc. Honors in 2003 and Certificate of Distinction during his M.Sc. in 2004 from GCU Lahore, Pakistan. He joined the Government College University Faisalabad as a Lecturer in 2005. He was also participant of 5th meeting of Nobel Laureates, held in Lindau (Germany) in 2006. He received his PhD fellowship in 2006, which was jointly funded by the Higher Education Commission Pakistan-German Academic Exchange Service, Germany (DAAD), and he joined the research group of Prof. Dr. Uli Kazmaier at University of Saarland, Germany. He completed his PhD in 2011 and re-joined Government College University Faisalabad. His area of interest is the synthesis of novel biologically active molecules (heterocycles, amino acids, etc.).
