Benjamin is an expert in all things plastic. From its molecular composition, design and manufacture to when it becomes waste, it’s life-cycle, recycling and revalorization potential. He fully understands its limitation and impact on our community and our planet, but also, it’s potential when “reprocessed or reformed” adequately. A Chemical Engineer who specialises in Polymer Compounding and Materials Science, Benjamin has over 12 years experiences in all facets of the plastics industry. He has worked on projects across the automotive, telecommunications, logistics and other industries. A scientist at heart, he has multiple research and development (R&D) projects on the go at any one time, all focused on polymers in some shape or form. Benjamin joined Curtin University to do a PhD focused on plastic waste traceability and quality scope and is currently working in various research project (with some teaching activities).
