Prof. Dr. Baoyu Cui is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Resources and Civil Engineering at Northeastern University. He is also a Member of the Mining and Metallurgical Process Computation and Simulation Committee of the China Nonferrous Metals Society. He received his BS (2005) and PhD (2014) in Mineral Processing Engineering from Northeastern University. His teaching disciplines include solid material sorting, numerical simulation of mineral processing, simulation and application of mineral processing, and principles of mineral processing. His research interests include the efficient separation of fine-grained minerals, numerical simulation and process intensification of mineral processing, and intelligent control of mineral processing. His research results won the second prize in the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, the first prize in the Green Mining Science and Technology Award, and the second prize in the Science and Technology Award of the China Gold Association.
