Jielin Li received a PhD degree in mining engineering from the School of Resources and Safety Engineering, Central South University, Changsha, China, in 2012. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Resources and Safety Engineering, Central South University. At present, he is mainly engaged in the research and teaching of metal mine mining technology, freezing–thawing rock mechanics, nuclear magnetic resonance study of rock damage, and mine ventilation and thermal damage prevention.
