Many innovations have entered human life with the rapid development of technology and its widespread use. The adaptation process of people to these innovations is very important in terms of efficiency and sustainability. In this research, the factors affecting the acceptance of metaverse technology, which is one of the most important innovations encountered in the last period, were examined. In this context, metaverse technology was analyzed with structural equation modeling (SEM) within the scope of PBT and TAM. For analysis, the Smart PLS 3 software was used. According to the hypothesis results, a significant positive correlation was found between PU, PEOU, AT, and Intention. In addition, a significant positive correlation was found between SN and AT, and PBC. It has been analyzed that the factors affecting the metaverse usage intention of the individuals participating in the research are parallel to the literature. When we assume that the usage area of metaverse technology will become widespread in the future, it is very important to expand the studies in this field in detail.
The increase in technology has directed society to penetrate more towards electronic channels. Usage of the internet and e-commerce has been growing dramatically year by year. Thus, households’ daily life has become more digitalised, leading innovative entrepreneurs to find new technologies. Firstly, the World has seen the emergence of blockchain technologies in recent years. In the more recent period, terms like Metaverse and NFT became popular. This study aims to analyse Metaverse and NFT terms with Technology Acceptance Model, and accordingly, a structural equation analysis has been conducted via Smart PLS 3. According to the analysis results, Perceived compatibility, enjoyment, and trust have a significant and positive effect on perceived usefulness, the mediation effect has been accepted, and other hypotheses have been rejected. Afterwards, all these results were interpreted accordingly to the analysis.

Purpose: The share of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) in e-commerce has increased, particularly after COVID-19, alongside the growing volume of e-commerce transactions. The increased number of orders necessitates the optimization of delivery operations. This situation has made using different technologies in last-mile delivery processes necessary. Currently, used electric vehicles (EVs) play a significant role in integrating these technologies into delivery operations. Adapting to new technologies emerges as a critical need for small enterprises to survive in the face of advancing technologies. In this context, the main purpose of this paper is to examine and identify attitudes of small businesses toward EVs’ usage in last-mile delivery for FMCG.Design/methodology/approach: The theoretical frameworks commonly used in studies investigating new technologies, namely the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and technology acceptance model (TAM) have been employed. The analysis of the study was conducted using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and the Smart PLS software package.Findings: When examining the results of the study, a significant and positive relationship was found between compatibility and enjoyment with perceived usefulness. Furthermore, a significant and positive relationship was identified between attitude toward use, perceived behavioral control and perceived usefulness. Ultimately, a strong relationship was found between intention, which is a precursor to active usage and attitude. Based on the obtained data, it can be concluded that EVs can be actively used in last-mile delivery in the future.Originality/value: In FMCG processes in Türkiye, EVs are limitedly used in last-mile delivery operations. However, there are very few studies on the use of EVs in FMCG. Therefore, it is expected that the current research will contribute to the literature by providing information on the factors that influence the acceptance of EV usage and their implications. The TAM and TPB models were used in the current study.
The increasing volume of e-commerce has complicated delivery operations, making it imperative to diversify the processes. Industry leaders have attempted to use drones, autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, etc., in delivery processes. The research examined the adoption of consumer drone usage in delivery. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was used in the study. In the analysis method, Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM), which is commonly used in the literature for multiple relationships due to the presence of multiple dependent and mediating variables, was used with the Smart PLS software package. Only the H5 hypothesis was rejected in the research, and the other hypotheses were accepted. When examining the hypothesis results, it was concluded that people are open to technological innovations and have a positive outlook on using drones in future product delivery processes.
