Prof. Fangren Peng was admitted to Nanjing Forestry University in 1981 and stayed on as a teacher after graduating as a graduate student in 1988. He is currently Deputy Director of the Institute of Economic Plants, Nanjing Forestry University. He is also a candidate for the cultivation of young and middle-aged academic leaders under the “Green and Blue Project” of Jiangsu Universities, and vice president of the Economic Forestry Branch of the Society of Forestry of China. His research interests include the cultivation and utilization of economic forests and the directed cultivation of valuable timber forests.
